Day 2: Sheet Metal Forming Processes and Tools

In this course, the processes of deep drawing and stretch forming, as well as shear cutting and punching will be discussed in detail, with a particular focus on trends in the two processes.  The basics for differentiating between forming tools used in sheet metal forming will then be explained. In the afternoon, the possibilities for the application of measurement and sensor technology during sheet metal forming will be demonstrated. The possibilities for springback compensation will then be demonstrated.

Previous Knowledge required:

The "Experts BU" training series imparts process-specific expertise in sheet metal forming. Previous knowledge from the seminar "Fundamentals of Sheet Metal Forming" or professional experience in the field of sheet metal forming is recommended.
