This course begins with a basic introduction to the topic of forging. The focus will then be on the common processes of cold and warm extrusion, as well as an introduction to drop forging. In the afternoon, the common machines and systems for forging will be presented. There will also be a detailed look at the impact extrusion of aluminium alloys.
Detailed contents of the individual presentations can be found in the respective lecture. If you have any further questions about the content, please feel free to contact us at any time.
