Training Registration
Privacy Policy
1.Person responsible and data protection officer
Information on the controller and the data protection officer can be found in the university's privacy policy.
2.Description and categories of data
The form records the data you enter in a database in a structured manner. The date and time of registration are also recorded.
3.Purpose and consequences of non-disclosure
The data collected will be processed for the purpose of carrying out and confirming the registration and organising the event in the form of an event. This also includes supporting participants in the event of problems or questions during registration or in the event of questions about the event. Without mandatory information, registration and thus participation in the event cannot be carried out.
If you give your consent, we will use your first name, surname and email address to send you information about similar events (hereinafter referred to as invitations). Consent is voluntary; if you do not give your consent, this will not result in any disadvantages.
4.Legal basis
Realisation and confirmation of registration, processing of the event: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 3 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in conjunction with § 12 para. 1 Baden-Württemberg State Higher Education Act. For voluntary information: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

5.Recipients
Your data will remain within the department responsible for organising events at the Institute of Forming Technology, University of Stuttgart. This also applies to your e-mail address if you have consented to receive invitations during the registration process.
First name, surname, company name and address will be forwarded within the university to the department responsible for the budget in order to settle the event fee.
6.Duration of storage
The data will be deleted until the event has been completed, i.e. approximately six months after the last day of the event.
Exceptions to this are first and last name, company name and address, which are stored for 10 years for budgetary or tax reasons for the settlement of the conference fee with the budget documents.
If necessary, the documents will be taken over by the responsible university archive and generally stored there indefinitely.
7.Your rights
You have the right to receive information from the University of Stuttgart about the data stored about you and/or to have incorrectly stored data corrected.
You also have the right to erasure or restriction of processing or the right to object to processing. You also have the right to data portability with regard to the data provided voluntarily.
In addition, if you have given your consent to receive future invitations to similar events from the Institute of Forming Technology at the University of Stuttgart during the registration process, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time, whereby the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation is not affected.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the law.
The supervisory authority in Baden-Württemberg is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you which is based on point (e) of Article 6(1) GDPR (data processing in the public interest).
